Everything was perfect, FAMILY ambience, the hotel was near to France for one month, the centre of Sarlat, and Sarlat.

A wide array of food at the breakfast, including bread, pastries, and jam. Great room with a large bathroom and unforgettable experience. Marvellous and quiet location down the hill and beautiful area.

Amazing food, beautiful setting, felt like a VIP with my own personal tour guide. The house felt like a blend of old and new. I could happily live here forever.

It's a shame I didn't need the AC, but I guess I'll have to come back in scorching weather for that.

central heating, a microwave, and a fridge were available in our a double room. there was a handy kitchenette and large bathroom. it was a great location just next door to sarlat, two wonderful restaurants in sarlat, and france.

There's no better place to stay in Sarlat-la-Caneda. The venue is nice with spacious and beautiful rooms. It has marvellous setting in the region. The atmosphere of the hotel is special.

A perfect place to stay for a trip to Sarlat and surrounding towns. The stunning Clos de Mathilde was extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Attention to detail was second to none. Our room was spacious and light, with a fabulous bed which made for a wonderful night’s sleep. Breakfast each morning was amazing, with home-cooked extras as an added touch. Naïna and Olivier, our hosts, were kind, thoughtful, engaging. I recommend this hotel to any traveler who loves "the best"!

Stayed at a place, had a pool, met a lovely host, had tasty breakfast, enjoyed staying there, will go back.

No shower, got lost on the way. Oh well, can't have it all!

Staff here were really accommodating, they did everything possible to meet my needs. the room had a nice big bathroom 🛁. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place.

The rooms at Au Clos De Mathilde are beautifully renovated with charming Sarladais architecture. They are spacious and cozy, making me feel right at home.

Personally, I found the presence of a dishwasher in the guest rooms unnecessary. Others might find it convenient though.

Absolutely stunning property with a beautiful pool and garden. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. The quality of the tea and coffee available throughout the stay was excellent. The small bar was a great touch, offering beer, wine, and soft drinks at very reasonable prices. The breakfast was truly amazing, with homemade bread, pastries, and jams that were simply delicious. The hosts were incredible, paying great attention to detail and ensuring that we felt well taken care of.

Our room was a bit warm due to an exceptional heatwave during our stay. However, the owners provided an additional fan to help alleviate the discomfort caused by the high temperatures.
